In honor of my birthday this week, I’ve put together a list of all my favorite tools and supplies that would make great gifts for knitters!
1. KnitPro Bamboo Interchangeable Needles

These are some of my favorite needles! I love the feel and grippiness of bamboo. The cables come in good lengths, and the join to the needle tips is nice and smooth (just be sure to use the key to tighten them so they stay secure). Pro tip: KnitPro and Knit Picks cables and tips are compatible with each other.
2. Addi Click Lace Interchangeable Needles

These are my go-to needles for when I need a more slippery surface than bamboo. The cables and needle tips join very easily and securely
3. Quick Gauge Ruler

This gauge ruler is a newer tool to me, but it’s very handy and easy to use, such a cool idea!
4. Yarn Carousel

I really love this yarn carousel! It’s super portable, and it can sit on a desk and rotate easily as you work. It even has a wrist strap for when you’re knitting on the move.
5. Spiral Cable Needles

These are the most unique cable needles I’ve ever seen! They work great, and they double as a shawl pin.
6. Yarn Cutter Pendant

I’ve had one of these on my keychain for several years, and it’s come in handy so many times! It is TSA-friendly, easy to use, and sometimes it’s useful even for non-yarny situations.
7. Cordsmith

This genius tool makes I-cord knitting a breeze. It comes in three sizes to fit any project. I-cord edges just got so much faster!
8. Mini Crochet Hook Keychain

I have several of these around my house, on my keys, and in my project bags. They’re very nice to have in case of dropped stitches!
I hope you find these tools just as useful as I do. Happy stitching!
